You gotta love it. Community Server 2007 .... open source. So much source to devour. The problem is, you never know where to start.
Spending days studying masses of open source code is only worthwhile if you have a lot of time to understand how the project fits together, and time is one thing I dont have much of. New language constructs sometimes make old open source projects good learning tools because we are able to identify areas which require refactoring. This process is also a good learning curve, but that's not the real point of this e-mail.
We have limited time to spend deciding what to learn and then finding the correct content. This process of deciding what to learn and searching for the content is purely intuitive initially but as we get older we slowly get better at it. Wouldn't it be great if we had something to guide us with this process? Or do we already?
